EAIS is currently partnered with a number of stakeholders. Our primary partners are the Supreme Council of Antiquities and the Finnish Environmental Institute; other partners include national organizations such as the General Organization for Physical Planning (GOPP) and the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA).
Call for Collaboration
The Egyptian Antiquities Information System is calling for national and international organizations to collaborate on its Geographical Information System of Egyptian historical sites. A system covering the full richness of Egypt’s cultural heritage is an enormous task. Assistance from archaeological missions and institutions, and other individuals and organizations interested in Egypt’s cultural landscape, provides the system with accurate, up-to-date, detailed information essential to proper site protection.
If you or your institution wants to help please contact EAIS at eais@eais.org.eg
We are now also particularly interested in finding students of any relevant subject to come and volunteer for us in one of our units (Archaeology/Egyptology, GIS, Database and Administration) as part of their degree. In return we can offer insight into the activities of an international organization with multilingual and multicultural staff in the heart of Cairo. For information or queries, contact eais@eais.org.eg, doaa.fawzy@eais.org.eg or sara.kayser@eais.org.eg or the coordinator of the relevant unit (contact information can be found here).
